Project description:

The goal of the SmartStyle project is to define an innovative new technique to objectively characterize facial structure based on 3D measurements and to correlate these measurements with predefined face classes based on the knowledge of style professionals This will result in a tool that and provides the technology to make automated and objective suggestions aimed at styling professionals in the first place, but also as a future medical application.

CUO will in this project map the current practices and needs of style professionals (hair stylists, make-up stylists and eye wear stylists) to identify the user requirements for the SmartStyle application. Based on these requirements, visual interface designs will be created and evaluated together with end-users. Finally, CUO will perform user experience and usability analyses with the SmartStyle prototypes and demonstrator.
