Dirk De Grooff

I’m a doctor in Communication Sciences (1978) and professor at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven), specialized in communication technology, online marketing, internet search strategies. I’m head of CUO (Center of User Experience research) and coordinator of IMS (Institute for Media Studies). Because I’m a start-up junkie, I founded the Mediacenter KU Leuven (1987) and a number of companies, like HyperVision (1991, internet services and on line marketing, now Agency.com), U-sentric (2007, user experience and design) and Userplus (2009, software for usability testing, now Humix).
